The Greenspun College of Urban Affairs’ Student Advising Center is here to assist you with your educational objectives during your undergraduate career at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Academic advising is an intricate part of your experience in college, saving you a lot of frustration along the way if you attend regular sessions throughout the year (2-3 times a year). Although we do not require that students receive advising, it is virtually impossible to finish your degree in our college without ever meeting with an advisor.
Currently, we have a staff of 10 individuals to assist you: 1 director, 3 full-time professional staff advisors, 2 peer advisors, an office manager, and 3 student workers. It is our sincere hope that you will utilize us as a resource when making important academic decisions. With that being said, it is also important to realize what we are and what we are not responsible for providing to students.
