Scholarship Information
Scholarships offered through the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs and its individual departments and schools follow specific application procedures, listed below.
In addition to any materials submitted for scholarship consideration, you must submit a UNLV Scholarship Application to be considered for scholarships offered at the University level and through the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs.
Applications for Greenspun College Scholarships are available from the Dean's Office each spring semester, beginning in February.
For more information about financial aid at UNLV, visit the Student Financial Services website.
GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
- All students applying for scholarships must be formally admitted to UNLV. A student who is formally admitted has completed an application and has received a letter of acceptance from UNLV Admissions. A student who is taking courses as a non-admitted "special" student does not qualify for scholarship consideration.
- Unless indicated, all students applying for scholarships must be full-time students at UNLV. To be a full-time student means a student is enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits at UNLV.
- The number of credits successfully completed determines class level, not by how many years a student has been enrolled at the university. Successfully completed credits transferred in from other institutions and accepted by the university count towards class level.
- International students may be eligible for scholarships. Please contact the department sponsoring the scholarship or Student Financial Aid for additional information
