• 3.0 or higher GPA.
• Must be an active member of Association of Students in Communication.
• Must be a major or premajor.

Ned Day Memorial Scholarship

• 3.5 or higher GPA.
• Junior or senior standing.
• Demonstrated financial need.
• Additional application materials are required.

Ruthe V. Deskin Memorial Scholarship

• 3.5 or higher GPA.
• Junior or senior standing.

Barbara Greenspun Journalism Scholarship

• 3.0 or higher GPA.
• Preference given to students with print journalism emphasis.

DeeAnn Sheehan Communication Scholarship

• 3.8 or higher GPA.
• Junior or senior standing.
• Full-time status.

Maury Stevens Memorial Scholarship

• 3.0 or higher GPA.
• Freshman or graduate standing.
• Must be major or premajor.

Step Up Scholarship (KLAS-TV8)

• Students with broadcasting or journalism emphasis.
• Must be entering senior year.
• Must be enrolled full time at UNLV (12 credits per semester).
• Must be of African-American, Hispanic, Asian/Pacific, or Native American descent.

Working in Communication Special Needs Scholarship

• 3.0 or higher GPA.
• Junior or senior standing.
• Must have a demonstrated special need, such as single parent, working full time, or extracurricular involvement.
• Part-time students (six to nine credits per semester) may apply.

Tom Keevil Memorial Scholarship and Mary Hausch Scholarship

• Degree emphasis must be print journalism.
• Must write for the Rebel Yell, UNLV's student newspaper.
