Scholarships offered through the individual departments and schools in the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs follow specific application procedures.
In addition to any materials submitted for scholarship consideration, you must submit a UNLV Scholarship Application.
General Scholarship Requirements
- All students applying for scholarships must be formally admitted to UNLV. A student who is formally admitted has completed an application and has received a letter of acceptance from UNLV Admissions. A student who is taking courses as a nonadmitted "special" student does not qualify for scholarship consideration.
- Unless indicated, all students applying for scholarships must be full-time students at UNLV. To be a full-time student means a student is enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits at UNLV.
- The number of credits successfully completed, not how many years a student has been enrolled at the university, determines class level. Successfully completed credits transferred in from other institutions and accepted by the university count toward class level.
- International students may be eligible for scholarships. Please contact the department sponsoring the scholarship or Financial Aid and Scholarships for additional information.
